Decide if the One Piece S.H.Figuarts Sanji (Romance Dawn) pre-order is right for your collection. We cover the figure's unique features, deposit details, and how it compares to other Straw Hat releases.
Quick Answer
The S.H.Figuarts Sanji (Romance Dawn) is a faithful early-series rendition with a $5 deposit and estimated arrival in February 2027. If you're building a complete Straw Hat crew or love Sanji's original East Blue look, this pre-order is a solid pick. However, if you prefer a later-arc version or need a figure sooner, consider waiting for a different release.
What Makes the Romance Dawn Sanji Unique
This figure captures Sanji's original design from the Romance Dawn arc — the blue suit, curly eyebrow, and confident stance that defined his first appearance. It's a nostalgic choice for fans who want the earliest version of the character, distinct from his post-timeskip look. The S.H.Figuarts line is known for high articulation and accurate sculpting, so expect a poseable figure that fits well with other Straw Hat releases.
Pre-Order Deposit and Timeline
Pre-ordering requires a $5 non-refundable deposit that goes toward the total cost of $74.99. The remaining $69.99 balance is invoiced when the figure arrives, which is estimated for February 2027. This deposit model lets you secure a spot without paying the full amount upfront, but the deposit is non-refundable, so be sure you want the figure before committing. International orders may have additional shipping charges.
Decision Rules
- Commitment Check: The $5 deposit is non-refundable, so only pre-order if you're certain you want this figure. If you're on the fence, wait until more reviews or in-hand photos appear after release. Don't pre-order unless you're willing to lose the deposit.
- Crew Completeness: If you already have or plan to get other S.H.Figuarts Straw Hats, this Sanji fits the early-arc aesthetic. Pair it with the Tony Tony Chopper (Drum Island) figure for a consistent East Blue lineup. Great for building a cohesive pre-timeskip crew.
- Timeline Patience: Estimated arrival is February 2027 — about four months from now. If you need a figure sooner, look for in-stock alternatives. If you can wait, you'll get a fresh release with no risk of aftermarket price hikes. Only pre-order if you're comfortable waiting until early 2027.
